Fourth of July
Posted by Mari Jo on July 27, 2009 about Aubrey Ann, Comments are offThis year for Fourth of July, Mamaw had a block party at her house, complete with bounce house, snow cone machine, awesome BBQ, and pool. It was a blast, and Aubrey Ann ate it all up. Aubrey Ann really loves social situations, so she had a blast. Here are a few pictures from our fun holiday.
Aubrey Ann had a great day. She kept saying, “Happy Birthday America!” She loved the fireworks and stayed up well past 11pm, which is a record for her! It was a fantastic day. Thank you Mamaw for throwing America such a wonderful party!
Visit with Family
Posted by Mari Jo on July 27, 2009 about Aubrey Ann, Comments are offWe had a visit with many of the Hopkins family at the end of June. It was wonderful to see all of our family, and Aubrey Ann enjoyed visiting with many of her Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The very first night, we headed out to the Grizzlies game. We were a little worried about how Aubrey Ann would sit through the game, but she did awesome. She colored, ate her hot dog and played with her cousin Micah. She was such a good girl!
Here are a couple of pictures of Aubrey Ann during the Grizzlies game:
The next day, the whole family packed up and headed for some fun in the sun at Wild Water Adventures. Aubrey Ann was in hog heaven! She LOVED all the water, and played like such a big girl all day long.
We had a great time with our family. Thank you everyone for making the visit so special!

Princess Tea Party!
Posted by Mari Jo on July 27, 2009 about Aubrey Ann, Comments are offEver since she was introduced to tea parties by her Meme, Aubrey Ann has been obsessed! She loves dressing up and having ‘tea’ and cookies with her mommy. Aubrey Ann loves to use this time to practice her manners. We have these tea parties quiet often, and we are both fond of the time spent together. Sometimes we get Daddy involved too!

First Major Boo Boo…
Posted by Mari Jo on July 27, 2009 about Aubrey Ann, Comments are offIt was coming, we didn’t know when, or where, but Aubrey Ann got her first major boo boo a few months ago. It happened when Aubrey Ann and I were playing in our blow up pool. Brandon had filled it up a couple of days earlier, and it was slightly over-full. In the blink of an eye, Aubrey Ann looked over the edge and the water came rushing out, and pushed her straight over the edge. I tried to grab her, but she fell face first on to the cement. She split her lip, skinned up her face, and loosened a tooth. Luckily, we got into the dentist that night to assess her little mouth. She was very sad and upset, but a trooper the entire time. I am not sure who cried more, Aubrey Ann, or Mommy and Daddy!
Here is a picture from AA’s first major accident:
This was a day or so after the accident. She was such a tough little cookie! We couldn’t be prouder of you little one!
