Should McDonald’s Change It’s Name?

Me: What would go into that building?
AA: Maybe a new store.
Me: Like what kind of store, what would the name be?
AA: Maybe, Donald World or Cheese Burrito King.
Me: What restaurant are you thinking about right now?
AA: Burrito King.
Her mind is very linear and it’s often fun to try to predict what she’s thinking based on what she’s talking about.
Elfie Strikes Again! – Day 3
Posted by Brandon on December 8, 2011 about Family, Comments are offIn the middle of the night last night (while Elfie was living it up in the North Pole), AA woke up very sick. She was vomiting, and just generally feeling crummy. So I wasn’t sure how excited she would be to find Elfie in the morning. Well, I shouldn’t have wondered. AA was thrilled to go searching through the house to find our sneaky little friend. And boy did he ever have a surprise for us this morning!
Our little Elfie decided to go fishing!
Looks like he caught something too! Hey, is that a goldfish cracker?
He even left a little fishing rod with a magnet attached and some letter "fish" so the kids could get some practice!
Even Landy got to take a turn fishing!
Looks like she caught something!

Landon Eating Cereal

Since trying this wonderful (compared to Elecare formula) he likes to push bottles away. As you can see from the pictures, he’s going to try and give up the bottle as soon as possible.

We don’t know what prompted her to say that or what she was thinking, but I imagine she was thinking about the Princess and the Frog.
Is Heaven Past Disneyland?

“Yes you do,” I replied. “But that is a long ways away.”

Bedtime Prayer Time
Posted by Brandon on April 21, 2010 about Aubrey Ann, Comments are offTonight after we read, “If You Take a Mouse to School…” we had some prayer time like usual. I prayed and then Aubrey Ann prayed. Tonight she had a unique list of things she wanted to pray for. It went something like this..
Dear Jesus, I pray for all of my friends at school, helicopters, flowers, and the beautiful butterflies, in Jesus name, Amen.
It was a really cute prayer and for some reason I think she must have been thinking about helicopters for some reason. We all laughed and told AA how proud of her prayer we were.

The other day after telling us how cute some clothes would be, she went over to MJ’s belly and said (in a little baby voice), “You’re so cute in those clothes Yandon.”
Aubrey Ann is pretty excited about her little brother and she’s really excited about sharing her toys and reading him books.
