Tahoe!

Tahoe was such a fantastic trip this year.  The kids did very well, and truly enjoyed every second.  We spent our first day visiting a local children’s museum.  The kids loved running from activity to activity.  AA enjoyed dressing up as a doctor and looking at different x-rays.  She had a rambunctious group of patients who intermentently turned in to dragons. They were seemingly incurable, and decidedly obnoxious.  Landon happily ran around the entire museum, only stoping when he could make a really big mess.

Next AA and I went ice skating.  AA did FANTASTIC.  Seriously, this girl (whom I love dearly…but) has difficulties walking on her own to feet at times!  But put her on the ice, and she can move!  We were very proud of her. Her persistence was fantastic.

Then we had a snow day, sledding, snowman, snow angels, snow balls.  All of us took part, and the kids had a blast.  AA loved exploring up in the trees.  Landon lasted all of 5 minutes before he was overdue for a much needed nap.  Luckily many hands were available to walk him in his stroller while I enjoyed playing with AA and B.

After wards we headed to Circus Circus in Reno, and had a blast.  The kids loved the games, the lights, the shows.  I loved just following her around and experiencing the awe and wonder she felt looking up at the enormous games and beautiful lights.

The next day we had more fun in the snow with just our little family, and another trip to Circus Circus so B and Landy could have some fun!  And boy did they!  Landy ran from game to game yelling “Yeah!” at the top of his lungs.  It was wonderful.

I am so thankful for these sweet moments.  I wish that I could freeze these moment in time and live them forever.  I feel so blessed to have this family, and all fun that comes with them.
